Trail Projects for Bid
Below is a list of projects that have been submitted to the PTBA for bid. Please respond directly to the listing agency for further information or to submit your bid. The PTBA has no control or input into the contracting or solicitation of these projects. We list them strictly as a service to our members and the trail building industry.
Pincushion Reroute, Minnesota
Project Description: Construct approximately 2.5 miles of new hiking trail
Carson City 5th Street Trails Project
Repair, realignment, and construction of the non-motorized trail system adjacent to the 5th Street Trailhead on the Prison Hill Recreation Area.
Town of Pagosa Springs - Reservoir HIll Phase 2B
The Owner seeks to design, layout and construct .7 miles (4,000 linear ft +/-) of new single-track trails on reservoir hill in Pagosa springs, Colorado.
BPA Lane-Wendson
Project Description: Project is for Trail access from Oregon State Highway 126 up to BPA transmission line towers for future maintenance. Project includes 2 separate trails, 2 Wood bridges with hand rails, and 7 switchback landings.
Nature Loop Bridge and Boardwalk Replacement
The Nature Loop Repair and Enhancement project is located within the Tahoe Donner Association property, within the Trout Creek Watershed. A three 2.5 mile loop is slated for complete rehabilitation and repair in the late summer of 2019.
Wildlands Hillside Trail Relocation and Restoration Project
Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust (GPMCT), a nonprofit land conservation organization based in Bucksport, Maine, is seeking to hire a trail contractor to construct approximately 1425’ of new trail construction, 1105’ of basic trail restoration, and 1635’ of minor trail restoration.
McCarran Ranch Trail Rehab
Proposed work includes installation of culverts, trail restoration, repair, new trail construction (2758 LF), and Aggregate surfacing. Near Reno, NV
Rush Trail Extension Phase 1
Draper City is seeking competitive sealed proposals from qualified, licensed trail contractors to provide final design and construction services for approximately 0.8 miles of the Rush Mountain Bike Trail Extension Phase 1.
RFQ - Design and Build Services for the Baker Creek Preserve Bike Park
The City of Knoxville seeks to pre-qualify up to three (3) Bike Park Firms or Teams to provide professional services to finalize design plans; prepare stamped construction plans, specifications and details; and manage the construction of a mountain bike skills park as part of the Urban Wilderness Gateway Park Project at Baker Creek Preserve.
Atwood Park Silent Sports - Phase 1, Rockford, IL
This project includes the construction of 4.5 miles of natural surface, multi-purpose trails, a 24 space trailhead parking lot, and water service with bike wash station within Atwood Park.
Project Title: French Bar Overlook Trail Construction
This project will include construction of approximately 2,800 linear feet of new trail which will traverse a hillside leading down to the Yuba River in California.
Summit Bechtel Reserve Request for Proposal for 2019 trail work
The Summit Bechtel Reserve is contracting services for the general maintenance of several mountain bike trails, refurbishment of a dual slalom course, and construction of new skills course areas.
Project Title: Wake County's Harris Lake Flow Trail

Project Description: Redesign and recondition existing trails on property including replacing bridges where needed
Prineville, Oregon. 66 Expansion
Seeking builders for approximately 1 mile of 5-7% average grade, 48 inch width on average, with no less than 36 inch width at any time, multiuse trail
