Prineville, Oregon. 66 Expansion

Project Title: Prineville, Oregon. 66 Expansion

Project Solicitation Number (if any):

Project Description: COTA Prineville is seeking builders for approximately 1 mile of 5-7% average grade, 48 inch width on average, with no less than 36 inch width at any time, multiuse trail. Based on the Central Oregon Trail Standard the lower section from the trailhead up to the utility road would be Type IV, easy, with 48” full bench tread and constructed as a “Classic Trail”. This will have a natural surface, designed as a primary walking trail. Therefore the bench would be generally out-sloped to better shed water and create a flat wide tread. The purpose is to provide a green (easy) trail, accessible to walkers, mountain bikers, and other such foot traffic. This is located at the mid portion of the current 66 trail system, off of the utility road, bypassing the steepest part off the grade. This is already approved by the county (land manager) and backed by our local parks and recreation department for liability. The build will need to be completed by 2018. We are can arrange a guide to the build area upon request. Please provide a list of past work completed with references.
