Below is a list of projects that have been submitted to the PTBA for bid. Please respond directly to the listing agency for further information or to submit your bid. The PTBA has no control or input into the contracting or solicitation of these projects. We list them strictly as a service to the trail industry.
Pine Hill Park Trail Thread Remediation in VT
The City of Rutland in partnership with Pine Hill Partnership, Inc. is requesting bids from qualified Contractors for trail remediation on trails built in 2004. To improve resiliency to wetter weather patterns and higher usage of the trails.
The Trails use type are: Nordic or Cross-Country Skiing Trail, Mountain Biking Trail, Fat biking, Nature/Interpretive/Wildlife/Bird Watching, Trail, Hiking/Running/Pedestrian Trail, and Snowshoe trail.
Construction of a 1.8-mile uphill climbing trail in OR
Central Oregon Trail Alliance, in collaboration with the BLM, is seeking bid proposals from qualified Design-Build Trail Contractors to provide professional services to construct a 1.8-mile uphill climbing trail, at Cline Butte near Redmond, OR.
Design & Install Crushed Stone or Natural Trail Surface in NY
Genesee Land Trust is seeking a qualified contractor to design and install a crushed stone or natural surface trail with accessibility in mind. The trail will be approximately .25 miles long leading from a parking lot to an accessible observation deck at our Salmon Creek Nature Preserve in Hilton NY.
Design & Build Birding Trail in NY
Genesee Land Trust is seeking a design/build firm to realign an existing trail through a wooded wetland that is a popular birding location. The new design will incorporate boardwalks, footbridges, and viewing areas.
Columbia Trail Association Seeking Consultant(s) for Organizational Growth

Merck Forest and Farmland Center seeks RFPs for the construction of an approximately 1,050' long universally accessible surfaced tread and boardwalk trail system to allow easier access for students at the Mettawee Community School to access MFFC lands for academic and recreational opportunities.

Re-bid: Improved Natural Surface Trail Construction Gaston County, NC
Construction of a 1.8 mile 6 to 8 ft. wide improved natural surface trail along the South Fork River into Gaston County's 344-acre George Poston Park to the base of the Charlotte region's third highest peak, Spencer Mountain. This trail project is a part of the Carolina Thread Trail network.
Trails Assessment for Equestrian Use in VA
Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services seeks Requests for Quotation from contractors to assess the trail system for equestrian use within BRNP. We are seeking a contractor to conduct a baseline inventory of any designated areas (trails) found to be appropriate for equestrian use, and that an assessment system be created to include the intensity of use.
MTB Singletrack Construction in UT
The scope of work includes construction of 7.11 miles of beginner and intermediate machine-built bike-optimized trail as part of the Mud Springs Trail System (MSTS). The trails will be purpose-built for mountain bike and Class 1 E-bike riding. Trails will be designed to accommodate diverse skill levels, adaptive cycles (Attachment 2), and National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) races. The Moab NICA race will be moved to MSTS when it is complete.

The Laramie Bike Park is generally described as construction of a bike park with features including dirt jumps, pump tracks, tech-lines/xc loops, gravity directional trails, landscaping, and signage with bid alternates including shelters, parking lots and hard surfacing on the pump tracks from the base bid.
