The PTBA has no control or input into the contracting or solicitation of these projects. We list them strictly as a service to the trail industry.

Northeast Georgia SORBA is seeking bid proposals on behalf of the Chicopee Woods Area Park Commission from qualified Design-Build Trail Contractors to provide professional services to construct 2-2.5 miles of new single use mountain bike trail on a 60 acre parcel within Chicopee Woods Area Park in Gainesville, GA. This new trail should be an intermediate/advanced skill level (blue/black) trail.

The City of Decorah Iowa is seeking bids to Development 5 plus miles of natural surface, mixed use, all-ability mountain bike trails with a combination of optimized flow and feature rich trails. Total budget for the project is $575,000.

The Region 4 Planning & Development Council (Regional Council) is in the process of obtaining the services of a consulting engineer in regard to implementing the Fayette County West Virginia Soft Surface Trails Plan which includes but is not limited to approximately 7-8 miles of mountain bike optimized trail and shared use singletrack trail and a pedestrian bridge at the Fayette County Park, as well as finalizing the Needleseye Park trailhead.

The City of Owensboro (“City”) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment, incidentals and supervision needed to complete trail maintenance, refurbishing and enhancement on sections of the single-track and double-track trails at Rudy Mine Trails located within Ben Hawes Park.
Ohiopyle State Park Natural Surface Trail Development Partnership Project (PA)
The purpose of this project is to develop new and improve existing mountain bike opportunities in Ohiopyle State Park in Pennsylvania. PEC, through a Coordination Agreement with PADCNR, seeks proposals to assess existing trail natural surface trails, provide conceptual design and planning & field design for a 10-20 mile trail system
Redevelopment of the Keeney Pass Trailhead & Trail in OR
The Oregon-California Trails Association, hereinafter OCTA, in cooperation with the National Park Service (NPS) and the Bureau of Land Management Vale District (BLM), is soliciting proposals for Architectural and Engineering (A&E) services for the design of the renovation of a hiking trail and visitor facilities located on the Oregon National Historic Trail (NHT) at or about the Keeney Pass Interpretative Site located in Vale, Malheur County, Oregon (the “Keeney Pass” or the “Pass”).
