Easy CLiMB Connector Trail - OR
Project Title: Easy CLiMB Connector Trail
Project Description: The Port of Cascade Locks (Port) owns most of the Cascade Locks Commercial Park, located between the Columbia River and Interstate 84. The park has several miles of mountain bike trail that was built by volunteers from the Northwest Trail Alliance (NWTA); these trails and other recreational activities are supported by several trailheads maintained by the Port.
In early 2021, the Port received a grant from Travel Oregon to improve the trails and supporting trailheads, with the goal of encouraging more visitation to Cascade Locks. With the grant funding, the Port is expanding its primary trailhead, brushing the existing trails, and building a connector trail to enhance on-site circulation for mountain bikers.
This RFP is to identify a qualified contractor to build the connector trail, which consists of two parts:
1) North Segment
Approximately 720 linear feet of raised tread trail (shown as pink in the attached map).
2) South Segment
Approximately 290 linear feet of bench-cut singletrack trail (shown as orange in the attached map).
