Conceptual Design and Planning Services for a 20-25 miles in TN
The Doe Mountain Recreation Authority (DMRA) is excited to announce the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Conceptual Design and Planning Services for a 20-25 mile multi-use trail system. This project includes hiking and mountain biking trails, approximately 8 miles of gravity mountain bike trails, and a destination trail to the historic DMRA Fire Tower.
We are seeking qualified firms with expertise in trail planning and design, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable development to submit proposals. Key details of the RFP are as follows:

Proposal Submission Deadline: January 31, 2025
Scope of Work Highlights:
Conceptual design and planning for hiking and mountain biking trails.
Development of sustainable trail alignments and features.
Facilitation of at least two stakeholder meetings to gather input.
Procurement of GIS data, as needed, to support project planning.
Cost estimation for construction and maintenance.
