Short Description (25-30 words): The City of Raton is accepting sealed proposals from qualified firms to work on the 300-acre Climax Canyon and Goat Hill areas. The work will focus on proposing new trails to connect to an existing 3-mile trail called Climax Canyon National Recreation Nature Trail. The Scope of Work/Services includes the following six elements: 1) stakeholder and public engagement, 2) inventory and analysis, 3) propose and design sustainable trails, access points, and trailheads, and trail layout, 4) trail plan, 5) cost estimates, and 6) complete the list of deliverables identified below.

The City of Raton shall receive sealed proposals in the office of the City Clerk until 4:00 P.M., on Monday, March 31, 2025. Raton Municipal Building 224 Savage Avenue Post Office Box 910 Raton, New Mexico 87740 The RFP shall be available at http://www.ratonnm.gov/, or by contacting the office of the City of Raton Chief Procurement Officer. A Pre-Proposal Conference will not be held, proposers may obtain additional information by contacting Michael Anne Antonucci at (575) 445-9551. The scope of work and the criteria for selection are described in the Request for Proposals (RFP). City of Raton reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any irregularities in any proposal or the proposal process.
