Seeking Proposals for Bedford County Master Trail Connectivity Plan

Bedford County Development Association (BCDA) is soliciting proposals from qualified professionals for the Bedford County (county-wide) Master Trail Connectivity Study. The Consultant will be tasked to create and deliver a Bedford County Master Trail Connectivity Plan. This Study will identify a feasible route to connect additional users (via hiking, cycling or water) to six major existing trails in Bedford County including:

  • Huntington & Broad Top Trail  (H&BT)

  • Mid-State Trail

  • Shuster Way Heritage Trail

  • TOPP Trail (Abandoned Turnpike)

  • Shawnee State Park Trail System

  • Blue Knob State Park Trail System

BCDA will manage all Contracts associated with this RFP. We are happy to answer any question you may have prior to Monday, April 8 regarding the proposal request.
