Planning multimodal trails along Shelf Road, including from Cripple Creek to Red Canyon Park in Fremont County For The Gold Belt Tour Scenic and Historic Byway, Assn.
Introduction:
The Gold Belt Tour Scenic and Historic Byway Assn. (GBT Assn.), is requesting proposals from qualified individuals and companies to provide professional services that support the creation of plan that fits the Scope of work.
Project Background:
The Gold Belt Tour Scenic and Historic Byway has received funding from Colorado Department of Transportation Multi Modal grant program that will be used to create a comprehensive plan for what kind of trails, where they could be and identifying requirements of governmental agencies.
Proposed Scope of Work
Creating a complete plan that outlines possible options for trail routes in the byway region, specifically continue a trail from Mountain View Park in Cripple Creek down to Red Canyon Park in Fremont County. Options for OHVs on or along Shelf Road corridor should be studied.

Request for qualification documents (include a sealed bid) – January 23,2023
Qualification document deadline FEBRUARY 8, 2023
Unofficial advisement of selection or non-selection – February 15th, 2023
Award to successful proposal: March 1, 2023
Final project completion and acceptance: to be determined.
