Job Title: Seasonal Trail Crew Member
Job Description: The Ridge to Rivers Trail System encompasses almost 200 miles of trails in the Boise Foothills. Our system is primarily non-motorized, and crosses Forest Service, BLM, City of Boise, Ada County, Idaho Fish and Game and private lands. IMBA has given our trail system one of the few Gold Level Riding designations nationwide. This position would work alongside our permanent trail staff in maintaining and building singletrack trails. Our typical 8-month season includes a variety of trail projects including construction of foot bridges, log and rock crib projects, various means of tread stabilization, tread maintenance and new trail construction. Employment is through the City of Boise, and our work station is against the Foothills on the north end of Boise.
