Job Title: Trail Construction Supervisor
Job Description: Mountain Bikes of Santa Cruz is seeking a motivated, thoughtful and experienced leader to join our team as our Trail Construction Supervisor. We are a rapidly growing trails stewardship organization with a full time professional crew, extensive volunteer program, and partnerships with nearly a dozen local land managers.
The Trails Construction Supervisor position is a full-time, salaried, exempt position. This position will direct MBOSC Trail Crew operations and will supervise our team of project managers to provide general oversight to the entire team. This position will focus on managing the MBOSC Trail Crew staff, operations, and equipment, and will provide the mentorship, policies, procedures, and resources for our project managers and Trail Crew to effectively implement trail projects with the highest quality, fiscal responsibility, and commitment to safety.
Duties include:
Staff oversight and evaluation.
Staff/equipment coordination & scheduling.
Administrative duties including budgeting and cost tracking, safety and training documentation, apprenticeship program, prevailing wage and labor law compliance, contract preparation and administration.
Fleet/equipment management.
Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 annually based on experience
