Project Title: Superior Hiking Trail -- Gooseberry Gap

Project Description: The Superior Hiking Trail Association (SHTA) seeks proposals from individuals and businesses with expertise and extensive experience in constructing new hiking trail according to modern, sustainable construction techniques and standards, including, but not limited to: clearing; building tread; installing puncheon and boardwalk; using local, on-site stone to build retaining walls and other trail improvement features. The new trail section is roughly 4.75 miles long, reconnecting a severed trail corridor, newly aligned and all on public land! The Superior Hiking Trail is a 320 mile long footpath along Lake Superior's North Shore in Minnesota, stretching from the Wisconsin to the Canadian borders.
