Lowes Creek Skills Park and Playground - WI

Project Description: CORBA is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to building, improving, and maintaining multi-use trails in Wisconsin’s Chippewa Valley. With its close proximity to Eau Claire, WI, Lowes Creek County park is CORBA’s most-used trail system with approximately 15 miles of single-track and 5 miles of double-track on 250 acres of land. The Lowes Creek Skills Park Coalition, a subgroup of CORBA, has identified two areas within the park with the potential for being developed into mountain bike skills areas.

The Coalition requests proposals for plans and conceptual designs for two skills areas: a bicycle playground and skills park for strider to green riders, and a ~3.5 acre skills park targeted to more-experienced riders.

The Coalition’s objective is to engage the services of qualified professionals to develop a design plan for these skills areas; generate plan documents and renderings suitable for presentation in marketing and fundraising efforts; calculate the costs of implementation and maintenance; and provide a cost estimate.
