Project Description: The Federal Government has a requirement for a Performance-Based ServiceContract for Trail Opening for the USDA Forest Service, Bitterroot National Forest.
The work involves performing Trail Opening on Wilderness trails throughout the Idaho portion of the Bitterroot National Forest Selway Wilderness. The type of work includes: “Logging Out” all downed or leaning trees within the clearing limits; “Loose Rock Removal” of all rocks larger than 6 inches from the trail tread; and Drainage Clearing of all drainage structures made out of log or rock.
Contractors are required to complete work to meet these specifications and performance requirements as explained in solicitation.
