Job Title: FPR Trail Coordinator
Job Description: Assists Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation staff with the operation and management of the Vermont state trail program. Coordinates trail maintenance and development projects, and supervises and monitors in-house, contracted and volunteer trail crews. Performs independent and small group trail monitoring and maintenance work to patrol trails, install/repair signs and kiosks, paint blazes, maintain shelters, repair bridges, and address erosion. Duties are performed under the general direction of the District Recreation Representative but with need for significant independence interacting with the public and outside service providers.
