Job Description

Crew leaders work in teams of two to lead adult trail building crews of six participants throughout Tennessee and the Southeast. Crew leaders oversee high quality conservation service projects that require mentorship skills, technical aptitude with multiple aspects of trail construction, and a high level of comfort in the outdoors.

Additional Comments

This job will have a week of training introducing you to the Southeast Conservation Corps model of trail work, followed by a week of Corps Member training, in which the Crew Leader will have essential responsibilities. Depending on the position you are hired for, you will have one of the following schedules: 9 days camping and working in the field, 5 days off, OR a regular 40 hr work week, in which you have free time in the evenings to spend how you choose.
