Job Description: Do you enjoy working outdoors and with people? Are you passionate about Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) trail system management and interested in further developing your skills in OHV trail development and maintenance and OHV trail system planning? Have you wondered what it would be like to have the state forests as your workspace and to have a hand in managing one of the premier Off-Highway Vehicle trail systems in the country? If so, please consider joining the Oregon Department of Forestry’s Recreation Program Team!
As the Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Specialist you will support and advance the OHV Program across state forest land. Specifically, the development, maintenance, and improvement of OHV trail and facility infrastructure. You will be involved with OHV trail system management, program planning, OHV event administration, and volunteer program coordination.
The program is engaged in multiple year-round trail construction projects!
