Job Title: Trail Crew
Job Description: The Mountain Trails Foundation is a non-profit trail advocacy group located in Park City, Utah. MTF hires a full-time seasonal trail crew of 4-7 individuals each spring. Trail crew responsibilities include but are not limited to:
New trail construction following IMBA standards using hand tools and mechanized equipment as well as general maintenance on existing trails including deadfall removal/saw work, clearing back side-veg, erosion mitigation and participation in several community volunteer trail maintenance outings.
The foundation also produces 3 trail running events that serve as fundraisers for the organization. Crew members are involved in aid station set-up, tear-down and participant support for the events.
Must have a good work ethic, great attitude and the ability to work well with others. Prior trail building/crew experience is preferred but not a necessity- we can train you!
Must be passionate about hiking and mountain biking.
