Job Title: Assistant Superintendent of Trails

Job Description: The Morris County Park Commission is the steward of over 20,000 acres of land and 216 miles of trails in 38 facilities. Facilities include large forested tracts, meadows, active recreation areas, trails, arboretums, historic sites, outdoor education centers, golf courses, a marina, swimming-boating areas, camping facilities, a riding stable and an ice skating arena. Under the direction of the Director of Park Maintenance & Natural Resources Management or his/her designee, performs trail construction, maintenance, repair, and design; and directs and coordinates staff, volunteer and contractor efforts to maintain and improve recreational trails within the stewardship responsibility of the Morris County Park Commission. Subject to direction, provides for planning, implementation, and completion of special projects throughout the park system.
