Job Title: Trail Crew Coordinator
Job Description: Open May – August (dates somewhat flexible and dependent on needs of USFS). Works with the U.S. Forest Service to plan trail maintenance projects in the Glacier Peak Wilderness. Responsible for leading Holden Village's volunteer trail crew on projects and maintaining equipment. Occasional overnight trips will be required for more remote destinations. Must be physically able to hike long distances and carry up to 50 pounds. Experience with cross saws and chainsaws a plus. Experience with trail maintenance required. Wilderness First Responder Certification required (Holden may reimburse Trail Crew Coordinator for cost of class). Room and board as well as access to Holden Village's programming and facilities are included. The monthly stipend is $350.
