Job Description: Friends of the Riverfront is seeking an Executive Director to take the helm of this established Pittsburgh nonprofit. The ideal candidate must be passionate about riverfront and water trail development, environmental restoration, community engagement, and building a constituency of trail partners.
The Executive Director will report to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for fulfilling the Friends of the Riverfront mission and goals outlined in the strategic plan. The position includes oversight of the programmatic strategy( trail building and stewardship), financial performance and fundraising, staffing and operations, external communications, and membership/volunteer management.
