Job Title: Summer Trail Crew Leader
Job Description: Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) is seeking a Summer Trail Crew Leader who loves working with people and shares CFPA’s commitment to trail stewardship and volunteerism. The Crew Leader will primarily work outdoors leading CFPA’s Summer Trail Crew in building and maintaining the Blue-Blazed Hiking Trails in Connecticut.

The Trail Crew Leader is a temporary, contract position starting May 1, 2021 and continuing to mid- September 2021 (negotiable). The work schedule during the Crew season will be Tuesday - Saturday.
Compensation
The Crew Leader will be paid $560/week. Payment will be issued biweekly. Mileage to worksites will be reimbursed at the current rate of $0.575/mile. While on spike, crew leader meals and camping gear will be provided.
Eligibility/ Application Requirements
This position has a minimum age requirement of 21 year olds. Application deadline is April 1, but candidates will be considered as applications are received. An in-person or Zoom interview will be required.
