Job Title: Wilderness Stewardship Crew Leader
Job Description: Crew Leaders work full time, varied schedules leading groups of awesome volunteer stewards into the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Start Date is May 12th with work going until mid August (if you're in college) or mid September. Starting wage is $121.50 per day. MORE INFORMATION HERE
The Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation connects all people with America’s wilderness heritage by providing access to and stewardship of one of the world’s most spectacular places – Montana’s Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex. We help hundreds of hard-working volunteers of all ages develop a land ethic and give back to the wilderness by opening trails, restoring heavily used areas, maintaining historic structures and fighting weeds. Active Wilderness Stewardship is our mission.
As a committed group of public land stewards, we also stand with those that demand an American experience that is equitable, fair and just.
Through intentional actions we will seek connections with nature for all Montanans and Americans – connections that come from time spent on the lands we all share. We will work to remove barriers for those that have not seen themselves as part of the American public lands story, including Black, Indigenous, People of Color and LGBTQ+ communities.
