Job Title: Trail Crew member
Job Description: Professional trail crew is seeking new crew members. Experience preferred, but will accept landscaping type work experience. Our company builds hiking, mountain biking and equestrian trails, with associated structures (footbridges etc). The job entails working outside all day, in all types of weather. Candidate must be able to carry at least 50 lbs, be able to hike long distances, and be prepared to be away from home 5 days per week. We work from Monday to Friday, rarely weekends.
Travel is not reimbursed, however, we may provide shared housing (camping, rv, cabins or motels) depending on the job and distance from home. This is hard, but fun and rewarding work. Our jobs take us from urban environments to forests and everywhere in between. Employees can expect to use rakes, picks, pulaskis, McLeods etc on a regular basis to build trail tread, loppers and/or saws to clear trail, and depending on experience some machine work.
Candidates must have great attitudes, be able to work safely, be able to work respectfully with female crew members, and love working hard. All employees are subject to e-verify and background checks. Resume/work experience must accompany any requests for employment through this advertisement.
