Project Description: The Naples Trail Collective invites experienced trail planning consultants to submit proposals for the development of a Trail Plan for Naples, NY. The Trail Plan will be the shared vision and roadmap to develop and maintain an exceptional, diverse, and sustainable shared-use network of trails in the Naples, NY region of the Finger Lakes. Naples, NY is a rural town situated in a lush forest of deep gorges and cascading waterfalls within a three-hour drive of over 4 million people. With access to over 7,400 acres of public land accessible from Main Street, Naples is uniquely positioned to become the hub of outdoor recreation in the western Finger Lakes. A group of regional outdoor recreation and economic development organizations are collaborating to create a thriving trail-based outdoor recreation scene in Naples, NY that supports a healthy, economically vibrant, and environmentally sustainable community.
