Project Description: Overall, the Tahoe-Pyramid Bikeway will be a 116-mile trail along the Truckee River in California and Nevada. This contract will be for 1.2 miles of 4-foot wide earthen trail near Truckee, CA and Reno, NV. The trail alignment is on a steep cross-slope (generally 1.5 :1) below Interstate 80, and situated on highway department property. Consequently, significant quantities of retaining walls will be needed, as well as hardened crossings for drainages and elevated crossings for culverts.
