Project Title: Pole Mountain Trail Project 2020
Project Description: This contract is for the construction of approximately ±10,200’ of new, natural surface, non-motorized trail on the Pole Mountain Unit of the Medicine Bow National Forest east of Laramie, Wyoming. The construction will consist of an approximately 2600’ segment of the Aspen Trail and an approximately 7600’segment of the Haunted Forest Trail. Work includes completion of an on-site investigation of local conditions, furnish all labor, equipment, supplies and materials in performing all operations necessary for the complete and proper development of identified trail infrastructure associated with the project.
The Project must be completed according to trail standards as contained within the scope of work. The start date will be approximately August 24, 2020, to be mutually decided, and work shall be completed by October 31, 2020. Trail lengths are estimates derived from design work completed from survey by Wyoming Pathways.
Contractor will adhere to Sustainable Trail Construction best practices and guidelines accepted in the industry as standards providing the foundation for all design and construction decisions.
