Project Description: The intent of this REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) is to obtain a qualified Design/Build Contractor hereafter referred to as “CONTRACTOR”, to provide professional services to design and construct 3 to 5 mile, multi-purpose (Mountain Bike and Running) off road trail. The basic scope of work will be to provide all design/build services necessary to prepare, provide technical assistance, and supervision during the construction of the project.
The design of the trails should take into account and use the topography and vegetation in the best way possible to create the best trail experience possible. The contractor should take into consideration a wide range of abilities from beginner to expert. The City would also like to use this trail system for future programming and events such as mountain bike races, duathlons, cross country meets, etc.
