Project Description: Sealed Bids for the Grant Township Keweenaw Point Trail Phase 3 – Trail Section 1 project will be received, by Grant Township, at the office of Grant Township, 230 Gratiot Street, Copper Harbor, Michigan 49918 until 3:00 PM local time on, Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at which time the bids received will be “publicly” opened and read. The Project consists of construction of a new multi-use trail including, but not necessarily limited to, path construction, boardwalk construction, trail armoring, berm installation, bridge installation, and installation of picnic tables, benches, and bike racks.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Grant Township, 230 Gratiot Street, Copper Harbor, Michigan 49918. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays during Township Office Hours, or at the Engineers Office, OHM Advisors, 424 Hancock Street, Hancock, Michigan 49930 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents as described below.

Grant Township has received funding for this project from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources through a Recreational Improvements Grant and Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant. State or federal funds are being used to assist in construction and relevant State or federal requirements will apply.
