Project Description: Seeking Bids from Experienced Trail Contractors
The Chicopee Woods Park Commision (CWPC) is seeking bids from experienced trail contractors for installation of a bridge and trail construction on non-motorized shared-use trails in the Chicopee Woods Preserve located in Gainesville, GA. There are two scopes of work included in this project, one for a pre-fabricated bridge to be installed and one for a mile of trail construction connecting to the bridge. There is an optional pre bid meeting and site visit tentatively scheduled for February 10th , 2017. If you would like a bid package for the bridge RFQ or trail RFQ or more information please send an email to richard.edwards@imba.com. The phrase “CWPC RFQ” must be included in the email subject line. Please indicate if you would like to receive both or one specific bid package. Bid packages will be distributed electronically, please make sure you include your email address and all contact information in your response.
The project funding is provided by the Federal Department of Highway Administration’s Recreational Trails Program via the Georgia Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The Recreation Trails Program is funded by gas tax receipts from off-highway vehicles. Minority owned and DMB certified businesses are encouraged to apply.
