Not sure if you ever got a response to this. I don’t visit the PTBA site often. IMBA’s “Trail Solutions” book (“A Guide to Building Sweet Single Track” is the subtitle) is the closest thing to what you’re looking for.

My name is Andrew Drouin, I am the trail manager for the Penticton & Area Cycling Association. I seek something along the lines of a technical journal; to whit; “Design & Construction of Technical Trail Features” (a title that doesn’t appear to exist at this point in time). We are in the midst of working with our city engineers and I would like to learn the aforementioned and present ourselves in a manner conducive to allaying liability fears that our city engineers harbor.

Might you be aware of a publication along the lines of “Design & Construction of Technical Trail Features”?

I appreciate any input or light that you might be able to shine on this situation.
